ahh okay i was taking 1 scoop of bodipure so 5g each day , with sp pre workout instead of that.
but switched to two profusion shakes not sure on the dosages of creatine in this but it says two shakes. two questions wurz can probably help with if hes about , - the profusion says 2 shakes of 2 scoops and shows a weight but two scoops is way over the weight it states 2 scoops weighs. is it jsut a wrong sized scoop or shouldi not pay 2 much attention to the weight. and - express whey im taking this again while i've cycled out my creatine , gota tub of choc mint in is it usual for this flavour to not mix as well as the others ? don't mind too much stil tastes good EDIT** went gym today after the heavy last couple of days of 18ths and some how i managed to lift more than usual :S Another + point is i havn't been cleared by my doctor yet but i tried some light deep squats to check how the movement felt on my hip and any other joints and tbh this was one of the more comfortable movements, so im guessing i should be able to add them and do something liek you said jim. The only problem i had was trying to get the barbell back over my head im guessing irealy shouldn't do this away from the squat rack, the gym was fairly busy so i tried it after my deadlifts with the same weight instead of over at the squating rack. + does anyone have any experience with german volume training ? and if it's any good? thinking maybe 4-6 weeks i saw a decent sounding routine on another website i go on and would like to try it. |

BTW the new rules of lifting is a very good read and id recommend you buy it over any other book that i have read..... buy it, read it,perform it and you will get very big ....you'll also save yourself a lot of money and will learn alot about strength, size, fat loss, cardio, nutrition, how to exercises, learn about periodisation and muscle balance etc etc its also a n easy read or of course you can fanny with every programme under the sun and still not progress that much sorry but sometimes someone has got to tell you straight.....you might even thank me in a years time ...when you have slabs of muscle -------------------- ssh im eating carbs again but not taking it so seriously

So this will be a great help, knowing a few things before i get there to get a headstart i am really glad you took that in good spirit as for the book....i think its better than brawn....brawn is hard to read at times - the info is good but like i said its not an easy one. glad to hear that training is progressing ....just make sure you stick to the basic lifts ...keep trying to add weight and or reps (but dont go daft) ...keep eating and resting and you will grow if you do it right you will have the best gains your ever likely to have ...so make sure you take it steady and enjoy what your doing. why dont you start a training log so you can keep track of what your doing and other members can help and advise along the way are you going to be doing some form of sports science course? i wish you well with that -------------------- ssh im eating carbs again but not taking it so seriously

I'm not offended easily
I ordered that book should be here within a few days so will have a good read when it comes. Well seems my A levels didnt work out to great and since i've always been into sport and EATING I looked for a good course i could do and came out with a 6 week fast track course, it's going to be alot of work but should work out for the best. It's level 2 gym/sport training, level 3 personal training, nutrition and a few other bits a peices like how to teach gym based boxing and spinning etc. So realy any knowledge i've gained and am gaining will get me a headstart I visited the gym i will be doing this at today which is quite a treck for me but will be worth it as it gets me all the qualifications i need in the smallest amount of time . All i can say is it was a good experience much higher dumbells, much more squating and benching equipment and they also had other bonuses like some sort of speed training thing 3 poles split into sections with 3 pads and 3 lights on you have to hit the pad which the light turns on on. Also have the chair leg raise thing for an ab isolation i quite like which we don't have back at my local. They serve some good healthy foods aswell like 3 egg omelette with veggies or some wholewheat pasta and chicken . Pool was good and clean , changing rooms were top notch has like sofas to get changed on all in all i having a great time with this one question i do need to ask though, as i went to do my deadlifts there was a massive barbell on the floor much bigger than the standard ones we have , me not thinking racked on the weights i had last time + 10kg was going to do 3 sets of 8, picked it up and could only do 1/2 reps i knew this wern't right, so i;m guessing it's a weighted barbell any ideas on how much it could possibly weigh? without anything on the sides ofcourse |

At my local there set weights up to 45 or 50 kg somthing like that then higher in the other area . They had that there but they had a specific area with reinforced floring so i decided to lift there and use a variable one as i hadn't used one before and it was already out . The dumbell was massive compared to the others, there was 32.5kg stacked on each side so i thoughtt i'd give it a go on that before i changed anything. I did one deadlift and knew it wasn't right hmm still having problems wit the choc mint EW it's barely mixing compared with the other flavours of express whey i've had . Even in a shaker :S will stay clear of that one probably back to cookies and cream after |
